Various fungi of the genera Saprolegnia and Achyla attack fish which have been wounded or are in bad health. thev spores of such fungi are universial and can not be eradicated as they spread from the air to the tank. The affected fish gets whitish fuzzy areas. If not treated much of the fishs` tissue will be destroyed,so it is best to treat as soon as it occurs.
