HI, I'm really interested in these fish, what is the minimum tank size required and minimum group?

I've kept them several times and bred them sporadically. Mine have bred in a 55 gallon and 100 gallon. I think you may have better breeding success with 6 or more in a 100 or larger. My experience with them breeding in a 55 is that only one pair spawns and everybody else keeps out of the way during breeding. I hope somebody we get a couple more responses to add to mine. It seems like more space would allow more pairs to successfully court and breed.
