    I'd guess you are an inch or so away from reproduction, but they are tough little suckers and not very tolerant of conspecifics.

    Please let me know when they breed. They will want a cave to breed in.

    Here is a picture of the male and one of the females. The last spawn probably had 400 fry and I put them in a 10g. The tank has kind of fouled out and there might be 50 left. This is alright though. I have another female on babies again in a cave. Probably another 400. This batch will go into a larger tank

    have you guys noticed any color changes with pairs? out of my five left (2-3") ive got one aggressive, always with dark bars, two that stay together, one dark, the other showing no bars/patters, and two teenagers going through their phases. im also wondering if there is size where they become very aggressive? just curious
