Forum memberr plastichead13 submitted a profile of his 80 gallon Tanganyikan community tank.

This tank features a very nice layer of fine sand to accommodate his Lamprologus, rock formations for his Altolamprologus and a nice upper column of water for his Cyprichromis. It is nice to see a hobbyist who understands the "recipe" for keeping a stable community. Hobbyists who plan to keep mixed genus of Tanganyikans should consider "layering" their tank when planning its inhabitants in such a way that each genus has the type of environment that insures territories can be claimed without conflicting with other tank mates.

Congratulations on a awesome, well planned tank!
